Living My Day Dream

Tuesday, May 13, 2014

Thank you to everyone who stopped by booth for the Main Street Market last weekend!  The entire day is an experience I will never forget and what a wonderful day it turned out to be!  Here are a few photos of the day!

The armoire, mirrored dresser, the little burlap stool under the daffodils, all of the crates, the MCM styled dresser peaking behind the headboard and the rocking chair were all SOLD to the sweetest people!  The two tiered side table in front of the pink door is still available for $25 and the side table on the rug with the pull drawer is available for $40.  Please feel free to email me at if you are interested in purchasing either item.

So many people asked me about my chandelier!
I will have these chandeliers available for sale in my Etsy shop soon!

Pretty little things.  The pink metal kitchen dispenser with rooster decals is still available for $35 as well as the French glass jars, the milk glass plates with blue and gold trim.

I will have these prints available for sale in my Etsy shop soon!

All of the crates are SOLD but this vintage Cosco Kitchen Stool is still available for $65

The black vinyl office chair peaking out in the back is still available for $105
and this large gold framed mirror is available for $45

The cigar boxes are SOLD but the gold desk is still available for $150.
The decanters are $20 each and the champagne glasses are $12 for the set of 4.

I was so THRILLED to see that Jeanine from Chippy Shabby was my booth neighbor!  I have admired her work for years at the Antique Market in Grayslake, IL so lucky me...I swooned over her beautiful booth all day!  Stop by her blog to see the dates of her upcoming markets!

Jeanine from Chippy Shabby was my booth neighbor!

I just love the story behind why Becca purchased this beautiful reprint of Pierre Auguste Renoir's Two Sisters (On the Terrace.)  When I saw her make a b-line to my booth I was curious to see what she spotted...she ended snatching up the gold framed Renoir and I was even more intrigued!  She shared with me the story of her husband proposing to her in front of the original Renoir at the Art Institute of Chicago and she had to have this vintage framed print as a reminder of the unforgettable moment!

It's music to my ears...the moment when you hear a gasp from someone in your booth who found "the one."  Funny story...the gates open at 10am Saturday morning and a few minutes later I see 3 women laughing hysterically and RUNNING to Urban Farmgirl's barn!  They had the right idea because a few hours later the barn was almost completely empty!  About an hour later these same women made their way to my booth and shortly after I start hearing tape measures wheeling out and lots of whispering...and then the words "IT'S PERFECT!" Suzanne came to the Main Street Market looking for what she called "that special piece" and I was so happy to hear that she found it at Sweet Market Lane!  Later in the day she showed up in the front seat of this cart ready to haul this beauty away to its happy new home!
Happy Shoppers!

Thanks again to everyone who stopped by my booth!  I was a pleasure meeting you! To stay connected, please follow me on Facebook and Instagram too!
